The Juneau police are seeking information about multiple thefts from vehicles in the Fred Meyer parking lot.

Sgt. Paul Hatch said in a news release that a total of five vehicles were either entered or broken into during the month of January.

Some of the vehicles had been left unlocked, while others were broken into by prying or breaking windows, the release stated. The total value of stolen property is more than $2,200, according to the release.

Hatch said some of the stolen items include: a pink Hello Kitty purse, a black coat, an “Angoon Corporation” coat, a plaid multi-colored bag, a case of Newport cigarettes, a duffle bag, an eight-inch steel knife with a brown handle and brown leather sheath, an Alpine model 205 dual screen DVD/CD player with a 7.4 inch screen, a silver Gateway series NE laptop with a case and a Mastercard gift card.
