Driving without a license

• At 9:29 p.m. Tuesday, Steve Bean, 39, was cited for driving without a license in the 7100 block of Egan Drive, and his vehicle was impounded.

Drug activity

• At 6:09 p.m. and 7:47 p.m. Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department conducted a confidential investigation into drug activity in the Juneau area.

Fire and medical

• At 7:50 a.m. Tuesday, Capital City Fire/Rescue was dispatched to Hospital Drive for a single zone fire alarm. It was a false alarm. System reset and returned to service.

• At 11:24 a.m. Tuesday, CCFR was dispatched to Hospital Drive for a single zone fire alarm. Alarm sounded due to dust caused by remodeling. System reset and returned to service.

• At 11:27 a.m. Tuesday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Salmon Creek Lane, and she was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

• At 11:34 a.m. Tuesday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Jordan Avenue, and no transport was requested.

• At 12:44 p.m. Tuesday, basic life support care was given to a woman involved in a vehicle accident on Egan Drive, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 2:21 p.m. Tuesday, CCFR provided transport for a male patient and medevac crew from Juneau International Airport to BRH.

• At 2:59 p.m. Tuesday, CCFR was dispatched to Glacier Highway for a burn complaint. No fire found upon arrival.

• At 5:43 p.m. Tuesday, basic life support care was given to a man on Trout Street, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 6:48 p.m. Tuesday, CCFR provided transport for a child and medevac crew from JIA to BRH.

• At 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, basic life support care was given to a man on Franklin Street, and he was transported by a non-CCFR vehicle.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 4:36 p.m. Tuesday, JPD investigated a report of a vehicle hitting a mailbox in the 1700 block of Branta Road.

• At 12:36 a.m. Wednesday, Seth Jordan Cayce, 21, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a single vehicle crash in the 3700 block of Julep Street. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center, and his vehicle was impounded.

• At 5:08 a.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated damage ($400) to a mailbox on Cedar Court.

Theft

• At 3:38 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of approximately $640 worth of fuel stolen from the 9100 block of Douglas Highway sometime in the past month.

Vandalism

• At 9:39 a.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated a report of vandalism to a Porta-Potty in the 3400 block of Glacier Highway.
