Photos: Unique art project brings bones into artwork

Sophia Harvey, left, and Jahrease Mays study a deer bone as they work on an art project taught by Art Specialist Nancy Lehnhart at Mendenhall River Community School on Thursday. The project is called “Georgia O’Keeffe Meets Mark Kelley” blending O’Keeffe’s theme of adding bones to her paintings and old calendars donated by Kelley.
