Marine Exchange to make Capitol presentation

The Marine Exchange of Alaska will be making a presentation to a joint meeting of the House and Senate Transportation committees Tuesday afternoon.

Retired United States Coast Guard Capt. Ed Page, executive director of the Marine Exchange, will be making the presentation at 1 p.m. in the Ramona L. Barnes Committee Room, on the first floor of the Alaska State Capitol.

The Juneau-based nonprofit organization, the website for which states it provides “valuable safety, navigational and logistics information to the maritime community,” was originally scheduled to make a presentation two weeks ago, but that meeting was canceled.
