Arson inquest

• Monday on the 2000 block of Lemon Creek Road investigation continues into a possible arson fire.

Assault in jail

• On Sunday at 1:55 p.m. Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of an assault at Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Investigation revealed a 22-year-old inmate assaulted another 22-year-old inmate while he was talking on the phone. Charges of assault IV will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office on Sanders.

Attempt to serve

• Monday at 10:07 a.m. on the 300 Block of Willoughby Avenue a case was created for destruction.

Driving without a valid license

• Sunday at 3:43 p.m. on the 11900 block of Glacier Highway Sierra Gorbutt, 26, was cited and released for driving without a valid license. The vehicle she was driving was impounded.

Fire and medical

• Sunday at 12:02 a.m. firefighters responded to a structure fire on Thane Road and extinguished the blaze in a two-story home.

• Sunday at 1:34 a.m. crews provided transport for a female patient and crew from Bartlett Regional Hospital to Juneau International Airport for medevac.

• Sunday at 3:16 a.m., crews provided basic life support care and transported a woman to BRH from Glacier Highway.

• A fire alarm sounded Sunday at 11:37 a.m. due to burnt food. No smoke or fire was found.

• Sunday at 1:27 p.m. crews provided transport for a female patient and crew from JIA to BRH for medevac.

• Sunday at 3:27 p.m. crews provided basic life support care. Transported by non-CCFR agency.

• Sunday at 2:05 p.m. on Gastineau Avenue crews provided basic life support care. A woman was transported by a non-CCFR agency.

• Sunday at crews Provided transport for a female patient and crew from BRH to JIA for medevac.


• Sunday at 4:10 p.m. on the 9200 block of Emily Way investigation continued in the report of stolen medication.

• Sunday at 7:48 p.m. on the 400 block of Willoughby Avenue investigation continues into a report of stolen merchandise.

• Sunday at 7:49 p.m. on the 8700 block of Glacier Highway an investigation continues into a report of a theft that occurred on the 8000 block of Glacier Highway.
