Collision sends three to the hospital

A woman is helped onto a gurney by Capital City Fire/Rescue personnel near the corner of Egan Drive and Glacier Highway near the hospital after a two-vehicle accident just before 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Multiple people were taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

Police say three people were taken to the hospital after a car crash at the Egan Drive and Glacier Highway intersection near the hospital Wednesday morning.

The Juneau Police Department and Capital City Fire/Rescue personnel responded to the accident at about 10:35 a.m.

Three cars were involved and three people were taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital to be evaluated and treated for injuries, according to police.

The extent of the injuries is unknown at this time, and no other details were immediately available. Police say they are still investigating.
