April 1 suspicious vehicle fire is 'Crime of the Week'

The police and the Juneau Crime are seeking leads from the public in an arson case.


Juneau Police Department Det. Krag Campbell said in a release that at about 6 a.m. on April 1, the JPD received a report of a vehicle on fire at the city impound lot on Lemon Creek Road next to the jail.

The fire was determined to be arson by Capital City Fire/Rescue Fire Marshal Dan Jager, the release states.

No other information was provided.
