Police Calls for April 22, 2013

• Saturday at 2:47 p.m. on the 300 Block of Willoughby Avenue a 61-year-old man reported being assaulted by a 57-year-old man.


Saturday at 10:07 p.m. on the 3200 block of Hospital Drive police began a confidential investigation into an attended death.

Domestic violence/Assault

• Saturday at 11:26 p.m. in Juneau a 36-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence criminal mischief and interfering with a report of domestic violence. He was transported to and lodged at LCCC.

Driving while intoxicated

• Sunday at 3:06 a.m. on the 1600 block of Glacier Avenue, 31-year-old Matthew Meserve was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to and lodged at LCCC. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Impounded vehicle

• Sunday at 7:48 a.m. on the 12200 block of Mendenhall Loop Road a 1999 Buick sedan was impounded as a traffic hazard.

Medical assistance

•A case was created at 2:14 p.m. Saturday, but no details were released Sunday in the daily police bulletin. The bulletin said a press release would be forthcoming.

Motor vehicle crash

• Sunday at 2:33 a.m. on the 1100 Block of Thane Road a 1989 Honda Civic was impounded after it was involved in a motor vehicle crash and left on the side of the road. Investigation continues.


• Saturday at 2:12 p.m. on the 8100 block of Glacier Highway investigation continues into a report of shoplifting.

• Saturday at 3:17 p.m. on the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive a 24-year-old woman reported a stolen iTouch. Investigation continues.
