Police and Fire Calls for April 26, 2013

Assist

• At 6:23 p.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department assisted on Egan Drive and a case was created for safekeeping.

Attempt to serve

• At 4 p.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated a violation of the sex offender registry in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.

Fire and medical

• At 2:18 a.m. Wednesday, advanced life support care was given to a woman on Mendenhall Loop Road, and she was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

• At 2:44 a.m. Wednesday, Capital City Fire/Rescue was dispatched to Franklin Street for fire alarm activation, and no fire was found.

• At 9:01 a.m. Wednesday, advanced life support care was given to a man on Glacier Highway, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 9:16 a.m. Wednesday, advanced life support care was given to a woman on Ninth Street, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, CCFR responded to a public service assistance call on Egan Drive.

• At 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, CCFR was dispatched to Gastineau Avenue for possible EMS, and gave a physical exam to a woman. No transport conducted.

• At 7 p.m. Wednesday, CCFR responded to an EMS call on Marine Way.

• At 7:09 p.m. Wednesday, CCFR responded to an open burn complaint on Troy Avenue and conducted a fire investigation of an authorized controlled burn. Units cleared.

• At 8:44 p.m. Wednesday, advanced life support care was given to a man on Marine Way, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 10:58 p.m. Wednesday, basic life support care was given to a man on Marine Way, and he was taken to BRH.

Fraud

• At 6:01 p.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated a report of fraudulent use of a credit card.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 4:09 p.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated a report of a damage-only two-vehicle crash in the 3300 block of Egan Drive.

Vandalism

• At 4:19 p.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated a vehicle vandalism in the 100 block of Franklin Street.

Warrant arrest

• At 9:41 p.m. Wednesday, Jason Vincenzo DeFatte, 37, was arrested on an outstanding $750 Palmer Alaska State Trooper Judicial Services warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of criminal trespass. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was involved.
