St. Patrick's Day assault is 'Crime of the Week'

The police and Juneau Crime Line are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man wanted for assault on St. Patrick’s Day.


Sgt. Scott Erickson said in a release that an unknown man driving a dark colored Chevy Tahoe assaulted another man in the parking lot of the Super 8 Motel at about 7 p.m. on March 17.

The suspect was described as being a white male, 18 to 26 years old, about 5’10” tall and weighing between 120 and 130 pounds. He was wearing a white baseball hat, blue jeans, a black sweatshirt and white shoes.

Erickson said the victim in the case, whose identity was not released, sustained minor injuries from the assault.

Anyone with information regarding this or any other crime is encouraged to log onto the Juneau Crime Line at and report the tip. Tipsters are guaranteed anonymity and can be rewarded.
