All three subcommittees recently created by the Borough Assembly will meet during the coming week, the City and Borough of Juneau said Friday in an announcement.
Meetings are scheduled for the city manager evaluation subcommittee, tasked with reviewing the performance of City Manager Kim Kiefer; the city attorney search subcommittee, which is looking for potential successors to retiring City Attorney John Hartle; and the ad hoc housing subcommittee, appointed to find ways to spur more residential development in Juneau.
The city manager evaluation subcommittee will meet Tuesday and Friday at 1 p.m. in City Hall. The Tuesday meeting will be in conference room 224, while the Friday meeting will be in conference room 237.
The city attorney search subcommittee will also meet Tuesday. That meeting is set for 1:30 p.m. in the Assembly Chambers.
The ad hoc housing subcommittee will hold its meeting Thursday, also at 1:30 p.m. in the Assembly Chambers.
The subcommittee meetings are in addition to regularly scheduled Assembly meetings, such as the Committee of the Whole worksession set for 6 p.m. Monday and the Finance Committee meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Both of those meetings will be held in the Assembly Chambers.
