U.S. Forest Service employees mop up a small grass fire along Glacier Highway in Auke Nu Cove on Friday. The fire was sparked by hot metal parts, apparently from a large truck's braking system. Metal parts were scattered along the highway and had melted into the pavement. Michael Penn / Juneau Empire
