Paperwork for nominating open seats on the City and Borough of Juneau Assembly and Juneau School Board are now available online for the regular municipal elections in October.
Voters will have the opportunity to elect three Assemblymembers and two School Board members on Oct. 1.
Filing for the seats opens on Aug. 2 and ends Aug. 12.
Offices to be filled are an areawide Assembly member seat currently held by Johan Dybdahl; a District One Assembly member seat currently held by Mary Becker; a District Two Assembly member seat currently held by Karen Crane; and two School Board member seats
All positions are three-year terms.
Candidates must be qualified voters in the CBJ, qualified to vote in state elections, a resident of the municipality for at least 30 days preceding the election and registered to vote at a residence address within the municipality.
