Photo: Monday mudslide

Road crews cleared a small mudslide on the 2000 block of Glacier Highway near Wickersham Avenue Monday evening. Runoff from heavy showers yesterday caused a small stream flood watch on Montana Creek last night, as well as this Glacier Highway slump. A state Department of Transportation & Public Facilities truck took away the soil and debris while heavy equipment scraped away a layer of mud. Cars, bicyclists and pedestrians proceeded slowly through the slippery cleanup zone.
