Police and Fire calls for Sunday, Sept. 1

Burglary

• At 1:48 a.m. on Saturday, 25-year-old Brady Carle Petersen was arrested for burglary in the second degree, attempted vehicle theft in the first degree, three counts of criminal mischief, criminal trespass in the second degree, theft in the third degree, and theft in the fourth degree on the 8100 block of Glacier Highway. He was taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Fire and medical

• At 5:01 a.m. Thursday, advanced life support was provided to a woman on Columbia Blvd. The woman was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

• At 10:35 a.m. Thursday, two men declined transport to Bartlett Regional Hospital after an accident with injuries on Mendenhall Mall Road.

• At 10:49 a.m. Thursday, basic life support was provided to a woman on Skater’s Cabin Road. The woman was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

• At 1:15 p.m. Thursday, Capital City Fire and Rescue was dispatched to Stephen Richards Drive for a fire alarm in the area. After driving through and investigating the area, CCFR was unable to find anything suspicious.

• At 5:45 p.m. Thursday, CCFR responded to a complaint of unauthorized burning on Pioneer Avenue.

• At 7:04 p.m. Thursday, CCFR was dispatched to Third Street to respond to a fire alarm caused by burnt food. The fire alarm was reset.

• At 7:44 p.m. Thursday, CCFR was dispatched to Willoughby Avenue to respond to a fire alarm caused by burnt food.

• At 8:18 p.m. Thursday, CCFR was dispatched to Juneau International Airport to transport a male patient and Guardian flight crew to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

Motor vehicle crash injuries

• At 5:46 p.m. on Friday, a 72-year-old man reported minor injuries to his leg after he was struck by a 2004 Dodge on Fourth Street.

Theft

• At 10:05 on Saturday, a 48-year-old man reported the theft of a handgun on the 1400 block of Harbor Way.

Vandalism

• At 6:11 a.m. on Saturday, a 32-year-old woman reported vandalism to her vehicle on the 8800 block of Nancy St.

Vehicle trespass

• At 11:27 p.m. on Friday, a window was broken out of a 2004 Nissan and a backpack and purse were stolen from the vehicle on the 1600 block of Glacier Ave.
