Day of Play Sept. 14

Saturday, Sept. 14 is the 3rd Annual Juneau Day of Play. All fun-loving Juneauites are welcome to free admission to city park and recreation facilities between 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

This free day of play is bonus for families with tireless children. Take the kids to the Floyd Dryden Gym or the Treadwell Ice Arena before dragging them over to the Augustus Brown Pool or the Dimond Park Aquatic Center. Once they’ve worked out all that youthful energy, it’s time for a walk through the Juneau-Douglas Museum.

Raffle tickets for prizes will be handed out at each facility. The more tickets you collect, the better your chances are to win free passes and rentals at city parks and recreation facilities.
