Police and Fire calls for Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013

Abandoned vehicle

• At 2:16 p.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department impounded a black Acura on the 10300 block of Glacier highway as an abandoned vehicle.

Attempt to serve

• At 2:51 a.m. Saturday, 25-year-old Antonio Sergio Clifton Osborne was arrested on a $10,000 AST warrant for misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second. He was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.

Burglary

• At 6:29 p.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department investigated a report of a storage unit being broken into and items stolen in the 1000 block of Salmon Creek Lane.

Criminal trespass

• At 1:30 a.m. Friday, Lola Denise Vaught, 53, was arrested for criminal trespass, and she was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Domestic violence assault

• At 7:34 p.m. Thursday, a 58-year-old woman was arrested for domestic violence assault. She was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was involved.

• At 8:29 a.m. Friday, JPD investigated a report of domestic violence assault.

Driving without a license

• At 1:18 a.m. Friday, Mariah Lynn Fallis, 21, was cited and released for driving without a valid drivers license in the 1200 block of Harbor Way. Her vehicle was impounded.

Drug activity

• At 4:36 p.m. Thursday, Greyson Roger Lee, 19, was arrested for misconduct involving a controlled substance in the sixth degree in the 2400 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. He was taken to LCCC.

Drunken driving

• At 11:40 p.m. Thursday, Carmenzita Maria Lopez, 62, was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 13400 block of Glacier Highway, and she was taken to LCCC. Her vehicle was impounded.

• At 7:57 p.m. Friday, 36-year-old Marlon Jumao As Maraba was arrested for driving while intoxicated on the 3200 block of Egan Drive after the 1990 Honda he was driving went into a ditch. Alcohol was a factor. Maraba was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Facility.

Fire and medical

• At 12:19 a.m. Thursday, advanced life support care was given to a woman on Franklin Street, and she was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

• At 10:02 a.m. Thursday, Capital City Fire and Rescue responded to a fire alarm on Fourth Street. Sprinkler system malfunction. Sprinkler company fixed problem and alarm reset.

• At 11:27 a.m. Thursday, advanced life support care was given to a man on Salmon Creek Lane, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 1:46 p.m. Thursday, CCFR responded to a report of a truck that was smoking on Shaune Drive. No fire.

• At 1:54 p.m. Thursday, advanced life support care was given to a woman on Basin Road, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 2:02 p.m. Thursday, advanced life support care was given to a woman on Mendenhall Boulevard, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 4:19 p.m. Thursday, CCFR was dispatched to Egan Drive for smoke coming from under a bridge. Found cardboard box on fire, no persons in the area. Fire extinguished.

• At 5:51 p.m. Thursday, advanced life support care was given to a man on Fritz Cove Road, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 6:02 p.m. Thursday, basic life support care was given to a man on Stephen Richards Memorial Drive, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 7:01 p.m. Thursday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm on Willoughby Avenue. Alarm caused by burnt food.

• At 8:33 p.m. Thursday, advanced life support care was given to a man on Glacier Highway, and he was taken to BRH.

Harassment

• At 1:27 p.m. Thursday, JPD investigated a report of online harassment in the Juneau area.

Minor consuming

• At 3:07 a.m. Saturday, 19-year-old William Gregory Lott was cited and released in the Sealaska Plaza for minor consuming.

Theft

• At 10:31 a.m. Saturday, a 54-year-old ale reported the theft of $300 on the 8700 block of Trinity Drive.

Traffic stop

• At 1:22 a.m. Saturday, 24-year-old Edward Robert Scharen was cited and released for driving without a license. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.
