City cancels meeting with Aparc Systems

The City and Borough of Juneau cancelled a meeting with Aparc Systems officials that was scheduled for Thursday afternoon.

“We were not interested in pursuing the path Aparc was talking about,” Deputy City Manager Rob Steedle said when asked why the meeting had been cancelled.

It was listed on the city calendar earlier this week as “Aparc Connectivity Review with CBJ staff.” The meeting was cancelled two days ago, Steedle said.

On Monday, a day prior to the meeting being canceled, the Assembly met in executive session about parking management issues, and at the end of that meeting Mayor Merrill Sanford said the Assembly had given “staff directions on parking management issues.”
