Applications are being accepted for the Social Services Advisory Board Grants and the Youth Activities Board Grants.
Each of the programs offers two types of grants. For the SSAB, the options are SSAB Block Grants and Utility Waiver Grants.
The YAB has the Youth Activities Grant Program for serving Juneau youth one to 19 years of age, and it has the YAB Contingency Grants for programs looking for funds to cover unanticipated events.
The SSAB grant application cycle happens every other year, and the YAB cycle is annual.
There is an open meeting scheduled for the SSAB grant application process Monday, Jan. 27, at 5:15 p.m. in the downtown library’s large conference room. More information is available online at www.juneau.org/SSAB.
SSAB applications must be submitted along with eight copies and are due by 4:30 p.m., Friday, March 7 to the Controllers Office.
YAB applications are due with six copies by 4:30 p.m., Monday, March 3, to the Office of Parks and Recreation.
