In a story published Nov. 24, 2013, “State: SB 21 is tax reform, not break”, the Empire reported that a Department of Revenue oil production forecast said “current oil production levels of about 521.7 million barrels per day will decline to 251.2 million barrels per day by 2022.” The forecast actually said current production levels are at about 521,700 per day and will decline to 251,200 barrels per day by 2022. The Empire regrets the error.
