Woman surprised by snoring man in her car

A 26-year-old Juneau woman was surprised to find another person catching some Z’s in her car Friday morning.

The woman called police at 5 a.m. to report a man was snoring in the passenger seat of her 2007 Toyota 4-door, parked near the Goldbelt Hotel on Egan Drive.

Police said they cited the man — identified as 54-year-old Milton Kadake — for criminal trespass and asked him to leave, which he did on foot.

A spokesman for the police department said the man was homeless, and he was intoxicated when found. He was given a letter ordering him not to return to the property.
