Conditions violation

• At 8:53 a.m. Friday, police investigated a 51-year-old man who failed to register with the sex offender registry in the Juneau area.


• At 6:42 p.m. Thursday, Laura Washington was arrested for violating her conditions of release in the 3300 block of Douglas Highway.

Drunk driving

• At 1:11 p.m. Thursday, Erlito Somante, 18, was arrested for drunk driving in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue. A breath sample registered .65 percent.

Found property

• At 11:47 a.m. Friday, an iPhone found in the 100 block of Savikko Road was turned in to the Juneau Police Department for safekeeping.

Missing person

• At 11:05 p.m. Thursday, a 13-year-old girl was reported as a runaway in the Juneau area.

Suspicious activity

• At 12:52 p.m. Thursday, a 24-year-old man was given a verbal warning for contributing to the delinquency of a minor in the Juneau area.


• At 6:03 p.m. Thursday, Brandon Stephens, 30, was arrested for stealing $230 worth of steaks from Safeway in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard. James Kennedy, 48, who was with Stephens, was charged with stealing $112 worth of steaks from Safeway. Investigation continues.

• At 6:51 p.m. Thursday, a white Samsung Galaxy S3 cell phone was reported lost at the Juneau International Airport in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive.

• At 8:35 a.m. Friday, a 61-year-old man reported that multiple medications were stolen from his residence in the 1300 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation is ongoing.

Vehicle citation

• At 4:54 p.m. Thursday, Jerome LaRue, 40, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license in the 2200 block of Crow Hill Drive. The vehicle was impounded. A passenger, Nadine Peratrovich, 43, also was arrested on an outstanding warrant.


• At 7:01 a.m. Friday, a 64-year-old man and 57-year-old woman had ammunition confiscated from them at the airport in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive.
