Tech difficulties delay online edition

News available on other digital platforms including iPad, E-edition

Good morning, readers!

I'm sorry to report that or online edition is going to be delayed today due to a technical glitch in our content management software; we are working hard to remedy the situation.

In an effort to give you our main news, we have manually recreated the stories you'll find on the front page of the Empire and will push the rest of the stories online as soon as the software allows us to do so.

The good news? Right now you can still access today's edition via our iPad app or our digital newspaper edition, which is automatically available to any print subscriber or individuals with a Digital Bundle subscription ($13.95 per month).

We apologize about any inconvenience this causes, but please check back around 9 a.m. for the rest of today's local and state news.

If you have any questions, concerns or updates, please email the web team at

Thanks for your readership!
