Police & Fire for Friday, Aug. 8, 2014

Fire and medical

• At 12:21 a.m. Wednesday, basic life support care was given to a man on Franklin Street, and he was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

• At 1:22 a.m. Wednesday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to an EMS call on 12th Street, and a woman was assessed and refused transport.

• At 3:15 a.m. Wednesday, advanced life support care was given to a woman on Glacier Highway, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 7:51 a.m. Wednesday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm on Hermit Street, and no fire was found. Alarm caused by system malfunction.

• At 8:14 a.m. Wednesday, basic life support care was given to a man on Second Street, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 8:16 a.m. Wednesday, advanced life support care was given to a man on Riverside Drive, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 10:23 a.m. Wednesday, CCFR was dispatched to Hospital Drive to transport a man from BRH to his residence. Basic life support care was provided en route.

• At 12:18 p.m. Wednesday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm on Glacier Avenue, and no fire was found. Alarm caused by burnt food. Fan used to ventilate structure.

• At 12:59 p.m. Wednesday, CCFR transported a man and Guardian Flight crew from Juneau International Airport to BRH.

• At 2:06 p.m. Wednesday, advanced life support care was given to a woman on Thane Road, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 3:42 p.m. Wednesday, advanced life support care was given to a man on Lupine Lane, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, CCFR transported a man and Guardian Flight crew from JIA to BRH.

• At 7:32 p.m. Wednesday, CCFR transported a woman and Guardian Flight crew from JIA to BRH.

• At 7:56 p.m. Wednesday, CCFR responded to a residential fire alarm on Steelhead Street, and no fire was found. Alarm caused by burnt food on stove.

• At 8:12 p.m. Wednesday, CCFR responded to a burn complaint on Glacier Highway. An illegal burn pile was found behind a residence. Resident agreed to extinguish the fire.

• At 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Channel Vista Drive, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 11:11 p.m. Wednesday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm on Glacier Highway, and no fire was found. Alarm caused by theatric smoke. Responsible party reset the alarm.

• At 11:53 p.m. Wednesday, basic life support care was given to a man on Amalga Street, and he was taken to BRH.
