• At 12:15 p.m. Sunday, 50-year-old Mark Smith was arrested for burglary in the first degree and assault in the fourth degree in the 400 block of Third Street. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center without bail.

Disorderly conduct

• At 1:49 p.m. Sunday, 32-year-old Joshua Yates was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 200 block of Front Street. Alcohol was involved.

Intoxicated subject

• At 4:13 p.m. Sunday, 25-year-old Monika Escajeda was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital due to her level of intoxication in the 3400 block of Tongass Boulevard.


• At 3:16 a.m. Monday, an act of vandalism, causing $200 in damage, was reported in the 5700 block of Glacier Highway. Alcohol was involved. Investigation continues.
