Elizabeth Peratrovich Day celebrations to be held

A series of programs in honor of Elizabeth Peratrovich Day will be held on Wednesday. The events are co-sponsored by the Alaska Native Sisterhood Camp 2 and 70 and The League of Women Voters of Juneau.

At 12:30 p.m., a grave side memorial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, followed at 1:30 p.m. by student presentations at the Juneau Arts and Culture Center. At 3 p.m. also at the JACC, there will be a screening of the film “For the Rights of All: Ending Jim Crow in Alaska.”
