Four teenagers earn scholarships for Sitka Summer Fine Arts Camp

For the second year in a row, Ron and Kathy Maas have awarded four full tuition scholarships to local teenagers for the Sitka Summer Fine Arts Camp. Successful candidates were required to write a letter describing their interest in and commitment to big band jazz, play an instrument and sign up for concert band and jazz band when enrolling in the camp. Each of the winners will have their $1,200 room, board and tuition paid for by the Maases.
