JDHS grad completes Army National Guard training

A 2009 graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School recently graduated from One Station Unit training in Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., according to a release from the Army.

Pvt. Ilaisaane O. Toetuu completed the training, which included both basic training and advanced individual training (AIT). Her AIT specialty was military police work, where she received instruction on “combat area support, conduct(ing) battlefield circulation control, area security, prisoner of war operations, civilian internee operations and law and order operations,” the release states.

She is the daughter of Maile Toetuu and the niece of Molly Brink, both of Juneau.
