Juneau Cheer Club plans May 15 Hawaiian dinner

The Alaska Elite Senior cheerleading team will host a Hawaiian dinner May 15 in the Thunder Mountain High School Commons. Seating for the dinner begins at 5:45 p.m. and the meal lasts until 8 p.m. A silent auction and performances from the team will accompany the dinner. Proceeds from the meal will go to help the team pay for travel to competition in Hawaii. Tickets cost $15 each or $25 for two. VIP tables for eight are also available for $100. Children less than 5 years old are free.

The team is still looking for items to be donated to the silent auction and for sponsors.

In addition to the dinner, the team will also perform odd jobs as an additional fundraiser.
