Juneau History Grant Applications available

The Juneau History Grant Committee is currently accepting applications for the Juneau History Grant, according to a release from the City and Borough of Juneau.

The grant is for up to $1,000 and funds “projects by local citizens of all ages who wish to research, write, photograph, or in some other way document, preserve or improve access to the history of the Juneau area,” the release states. The grant is funded by an endowment from the Juneau Centennial Committee.

Applications are available online at http://www.juneau.org/parkrec/museum/grant.php or at the front dest of the Juneau-Douglas City Museum. The deadline for submitting applications is 4 p.m. June 13.
