Juneau Rainbow Girls set to host state convention

Juneau is host to the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls Alaska Chapter’s 49th annual convention this year, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Travelodge. The event will last until Thursday.Girls from Anchorage and Fairbanks will join Juneau Rainbow Girls in various team building and leadership programs. In addition, they will be working at the Gastineau Humane Society as the closing activity to their year-long service project of helping animal shelters in Alaska. Pictured center is Chloe Stoces, center, president of the Juneau Rainbow Girls.
