Carte family offers thanks for help in tough times

As the investigation continues, we have laid to rest our son Gabriel A. Carte. Our pain will be with us for a long time. April and I and Rob and Seana would like to thank the Jensen Family of Rejuvenation Salon & Spa for opening up their home to us in every way, From showers, beds and cooking and just everything and anything we needed. They have gone way above and beyond.

We would also like to thank Tim and Joann Birt of Juneau for providing transportation for us to get around town.

A very special thanks to Chris Carte and the Carte families for the love and support through the tough times.

April and Ron Horton

The Symphony would like to thank everyone in the community who contributed to our raffle fundraiser, especially our prize donors Princess Cruises, Alaska Airlines, Northstar Trekking, Wings of Alaska, The Homestead Bed and Breakfast, Temsco Helicopters and Goldbelt Inc. The success of our raffle was due in large part to their generous donations and long time support of the Symphony. The raffle is the Symphony’s largest fundraiser and without it our season would not be possible. We raised more than $20,000 which will all go toward providing performance and learning opportunities for local musicians of all ages. Thank you to everyone who tirelessly sold tickets and everyone who bought tickets. Your commitment to music and art is what makes Juneau such an amazing community to serve. We’ll see you at the Symphony!

TMHS appreciates the opportunity

Coach Bill Byouer would like to thank the businesses of Jordan Creek that allowed our players give a little back to the community last week when they allowed some of our Falcon workers to wash the windows of the Jordan Creek Condominiums. We thank you for supporting Thunder Mountain High School and its football team.
