Pets for the week of July 17, 2011

Simon and Dickson

We are two lovable 7-month-old rat brothers who are very friendly and sweet. We have been hand trained and worked with quite a bit in our past. With our handsome white fur coats and bright red eyes we would make a stunning addition to any household.

Monsieur

I’m that incredibly good looking gentleman you’ve been looking for. A petite 3-year-old cat with a luxurious short black coat, I get along well with pretty much everyone. I am looking for a home where I can run around and play, and expend the excessive energy I have. After playtime, I still enjoy a good cuddle.

Eugene Fitz Herbert

I am a 4-year-old orange boy with a little extra padding, looking for a quiet home. As a pretty mellow cat, I love full body scratches, giving kisses and lounging on laps. I get along pretty well with most other cats as long as they understand that I’m the most important cat in the house. Do you have the laid back lap that I’ve been looking for?

Chai and Teddy

Sweet 7-year-old purebred Lhasa Apso brothers, we have never been apart and would love to find a home together. We know our basic commands and are looking for a home without young children or cats — since we tend to chase them. Our fur is amazingly silky, but we will need regular trips to the groomer to keep it healthy. Are you a family that has enough room in their heart and home to take us both in?

A big thank you to Bartlett Hospital’s cardiac rehabilitation department

Thank you to the staff and patients of Bartlett’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Department for their donation of baby food. This much-needed donation is critical for providing healthy food to young family members, who are most in need of nutritious food. We should always remember that “healthy choices fight heart disease.” Bartlett’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Department’s special, specific donation reminds us that the health of our children is the first step towards a long and healthy life, and their generosity is overwhelming. This donation will make a difference in the lives of babies and their families in need. Thank you Bartlett’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Department!
