Fashion and function: Brewery hosts haute fundraiser

“No Umbrellas,” a fashion show and fundraiser on Nov. 17, sold out, even with much of the space standing room only. Well over 300 people attended according to Alaskan Brewing Company spokesperson Ashley Johnston; she anticipated more than $5000 would be donated to Hospice and Homecare of Juneau.

Clockwise from far left, Lydia Ver models clothing from Paradise Beach Tan and Travel. Aim Villanueva swings her jacket down the runway as she models clothing for the Aurora Projekt. Kevin Sellers adds a splash as he models clothing by the Alaskan Brewing Company. Charity Green adjusts her high heeled shoe as she models knitted goods by Tanna Peters and her husband, Michael Studt.
