Big Brothers Big Sisters brightens a day

On Dec. 10, Big Brothers Big Sisters matches met at The Canvas Art Studio, where they spent the afternoon painting together. Each match was asked to paint something that depicted their friendship. To celebrate their friendships and the power of mentoring, their art will be featured and on display at The Rookery Cafe during the month of January in honor of National Mentoring Month. The premiere is Jan. 6 for the First Friday Art Walk.

Pictured are Big Brother Ryan Aguilar and Little Brother Kenny, they’ve been matched 3 years 2 months.
