Scout's Honor: Fulfilling the duty to others

Max Suzuki, left, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader from Boy Scout Troop 6 presents a check for $1,500 to Amy Skilbred Executive Director of the Juneau Community Foundation and Eileen Hosey (far right), a member of the Board of the Directors of the Glory Hole during a recent Troop 6 Court of Honor. The Juneau Community Foundation matched this donation to the Glory Hole. Working with the Juneau Community Foundation doubled the hard work of Troop 6 scouts for the benefit for the Glory Hole.

Troop 6 is sponsored by Chapel by the Lake. Its scoutmaster is Charlie Jones, the Assistant Scoutmaster is Jeff Ober, its committee chairman is Chris Gianotti and its treasurer is Duane Gates.
