Mores, Araki wed

Theresa Deems Mores and Kevin Araki wed in a private ceremony while vacationing in New York City.

The bride is the daughter of Sue and Richard Deems of Auke Bay. She graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School and attended Western State College of Colorado. She is employed with the City and Borough of Juneau Engineering.

The groom is the son of the late Beatrice and Kakuchi Araki of Garden Grove, Calif. He graduated from Rancho Alamitos High School in Garden Grove and attended the University of the Pacific and University of Alaska Southeast. He is employed with the Vocational Training and Resource Center.

The couple will hold a family ceremony and celebration in summer of 2012 to unite family members Jasmine and Laurel Araki and Tyler, Dylan and Chad Mores.

The family will continue to make its home in downtown Juneau.
