Two tasty evenings

Slow Food Southeast Alaska expresses its appreciation for everyone who participated in the olive oil tasting events last week. The event organizers extend a special thanks to Daniel Martin and Kelsey Knutson of Wild Oven for donating the delicious artisan bread served at the event.

The events were also made possible by generous sponsorship by Pavitt’s Health and Fitness and the Hangar on the Wharf. Many thanks to Aja Razumny, Micah Sommers, Amber King, Christine Amor, Maressa Jensen, Sarah Lewis, Joe Parrish, Rick Turner, Darren Snyder, and Dora Wainwright for volunteering. Final thanks goes to guest speaker Lorenzo Caponetti for sharing his expertise and sending oil from his farm to our table.
