Pets of the week

Chile is a handsome 25-year-old red and green macaw with an extensive vocabulary. While he isn’t that fond of children he does get along well with most men, women and dogs. Red and green macaws are the second largest parrot and Chile defiantly embodies that trait. This huge bird has the attitude of a 4-year-old child. While he loves to learn new words and games he also enjoys investigating new things in his environment. Chile will need a family that is willing to spend lots of time with him and childproof their home against this highly intelligent and curious mind.

A 4-year-old female, Maui is a pretty low-maintenance girl who can keep herself amused. She likes to keep fit by climbing carpet cat condos. She loves children and enjoys the company of fellow cats. She likes to take it slow and get to know someone before she jumps in a lap, but can be very affectionate with the right person.

Lucky is a handsome 7-year-old tiger who loves to lounge around on a chilly winter’s day. He is very affectionate and good with humans of all ages. While he doesn’t mind being picked up, he would prefer to jump into your lap on his own. Lucky appreciates short lap times punctuated by long periods of roaming his room making sure everything is as it should be. Lucky is tolerant of other animals and will do well in a home with multiple pets.

A beautiful lady with a stunning calico coat, she loves ear and head scratches, but is a little particular about the rest of her body. She enjoys toys of all sorts but especially adores anything on a string. She would do well in a home with other cats as long as they give her the space she needs. She gets along very well with adults, but would prefer a home without children. Are you the quiet mature home she’s been looking for?
