The Juneau World Affairs Council invites Juneau residents to attend a presentation by Sen. Mark Begich on his visit to Afghanistan in January.
The Senator is a member of both the Armed Services Committee and the Veterans Affairs Committee. During his journey he visited Kabul and Camp Bastion, and toured Helmand and Kandahar provinces — where many Alaska soldiers are based.
