Sarah Elizabeth Ginter, daughter of Jane Ginter and the late Jay Ginter, graduated with a bachelor of arts degree with an emphasis in linguistics from the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Wash.

In her graduation notice, Ginter said “after a diverse college career spanning five years, four schools, and three continents, I am finally graduating.”

She also used borrowed a sentiment dear to her late father, “The journey is more important than the destination.”
