Hell's Belles jammed for JAMM

Ethan Billings, with daughter Zoey, present Glacier Valley Elementary School teachers with a check for $1,045 for the JAMM program.

The Glacier Valley Elementary School community would like to thank Ethan Billings of Marlintini’s Lounge for generously donating $5 of every ticket sold for the Hell’s Belles concert held on March 3rd to Juneau, Alaska Music Matters (JAMM). In the photo, Ethan and his daughter, Zoey, present the total proceeds of $1,045 to Glacier Valley music teacher and 1st grade and kindergarten classroom teachers, whose students participate in weekly violin lessons through the JAMM program. This donation will help purchase more violins. Ethan hopes that other businesses in the Juneau community will consider donating what they can to help reach the $10,000 needed to buy 80 violins for JAMM’s expansion to 2nd grade at GV, as well as all kindergarten classes at Riverbend Elementary School next year.

For more information on the JAMM program, contact Lorrie Heagy at Glacier Valley Elementary School at 780-1420 or heagyl@gmail.com.
