“One month into our Cuban adventure and our group is really beginning to settle in to the intense Cuban style of life, adapting to the fast pace and open-hearted way of living. From the capitol city of Havana we headed west to Vinales and spent a week hiking, swimming, dancing and engaging a number of ecotourism related activities, all the while making some of the best Cuban friends thus far. Cuba remains an island full of mystery and potential for us students and we look forward to a new chapter on Ernest Hemingway with Kevin Maier. That’s a promise!”
