Free computer classes at TLC

The Learning Connection (TLC) offers free computer classes. The offerings for this month are:

 

Introduction to Microsoft Excel 2010 (Level 1)

Mondays and Wednesdays, 5-7 p.m., April 2-April 30.

Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5-7 p.m., April 3-April 26

Job Search, Resume Creation and Using ALEXsys

Offered 10 a.m.-noon, Thursday, April 5 and Thursday, April 19.

The Juneau Job Center staff along with The Learning Connection staff will present and offer hands-on guidance regarding job search.

All classes take place at The Learning Connection at 210 Ferry Way in downtown Juneau.

These classes fill up fast; please call 586-5718 to register or for more information.

The Learning Connection provides free GED & Adult Education Services, Computer Training, Family Education Programs, and Job Search Assistance at four locations in Alaska’s Capital City.

This program is funded by a City and Borough of Juneau Social Service Grant.
