4th Annual Spring Equinox Jamboree

The Juneau Children Outdoors and Community Coalition would like to thank all of the volunteers for making the fourth annual Spring Equinox Jamboree held March 24 such a success. Hosted at SAGA’s Eagle Valley Center, the Jamboree was a fun day of outdoor play and adventure at the center.

We would especially like to thank the Alaska Department of Fish & Game for teaching fly tying, the Association for the Education of Young Children for hosting a nature table mystery box activity, Discovery Southeast for hosting nature hikes, Zach Gordon Youth Center for loaning event items, SAGA for hosting the logistics and facility, Cori Stennett for providing the hula hoops, and Shattuck and Grummett Insurance Company for providing the BBQ lunch.

You all really made it a special day for all of the children and their families that attended. Thank you all and we hope to see you at the next jamboree.

Nate Heck
