A&P cares

The SouthEast Alaska Friends of Montessori (SEAFOM) board of directors would like to express its appreciation to the Alaskan & Proud Grocery Store in Juneau for its many years of continued support through their One Percent for Nonprofits Program.

SEAFOM is dedicated to support Montessori Education whether in the private or the public schools. In this particular case, thanks to the A&P one percent contributions, SEAFOM provided food and other supplies to the Montessori Borealis Elementary and Adolescent programs for classroom snacks, parent meetings and program events.

Montessori Borealis is an option program of the Juneau School District, serving children in grades one to eight who need an educational alternative that better fit their learning style.

We are sad to hear that A&P may not be around in Juneau much longer, but we appreciate its involvement in the community and their support of our organization for so many years.
