The Douglas Fourth of July Committee asks Douglas residents, organizations and businesses to fly our country’s flag on Flag Day June 14. The Committee asks residents to go further in decorating their homes or buildings with flags and patriotic colored decorations and asks that residents leave them up through July 4, Independence Day to help make Douglas festive for the holiday.
The Douglas Volunteer Fire Fighters will judge the properties at 5 p.m. Awards will be announced and posted at 8 p.m. at the Douglas Inn.
