JDHS class of 2002 reunion

The Juneau-Douglas High School class of 2002 will be celebrating its 10-year class reunion July 6 through July 8.

The reunion will start on July 6 at 5 p.m. at Glacier Gardens. This event will include hors d’oeuvres, a beer garden and prizes. There will be a bus available around 9 p.m. for transportation downtown for all those interested in continuing the evening with a bar crawl.

July 7 will be a beach day at Sandy Beach with a potluck style BBQ beginning at 3 p.m., where graduates’ families are more than welcome to attend. There will be a bonfire starting at 8 p.m., weather permitting. If the weather is not accommodating, the event will move to the Juneau-Douglas High School gym.

July 8 will conclude the reunion weekend at the Prospector with a cocktail hour starting at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. and a slideshow of graduates’ lives since high school, not to mention more prizes.
