It's a dog's life camp

Gastineau Humane Society presents summer camps for kids featuring orientation, safe dog handling and first aid, basic commands and signals, dog agility training, refining and strengthening skills and a graduation. The camp is available to 9- to 15-year-olds during summer sessions Monday-Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The final session runs Aug. 6-10. Space is limited, so hopeful campers should sign up by calling 789-0260. Campers my earn GHS Dog Walker Certificate upon graduation.
