Cancer Connection gives a huge thanks to Coastal Helicopters

Coastal Helicopters hosted an annual Pre-Season Glacier Flightseeing “Icefield Exursion” in early spring. They generously donate all proceeds for that day to Cancer Connection for our Lynne Wunsch Memorial Travel Assistance Program, which provides travel assistance for Southeast Alaska cancer patients needing to travel for cancer treatment.

Due to weather conditions being below minimum for the scheduled fundraiser date, Coastal Helicopters stayed the course and graciously fit in the reserved spots throughout their season until all slots had been fulfilled… going above and beyond their original commitment.

We at Cancer Connection are very appreciative to receive their donation for $8,400 and are humbled at how well our Juneau community plays a vital role in helping others locally through us.

A huge thanks goes to Mike Wilson, the pilots, crew members and office staff who work hard to make this annual fundraiser for Cancer Connection so successful year after year.
